Purchased this incredible fan to reduce the odors and heat in the r v. As a full time rv'er this was a major upgrade
from the original 6 inch fan with one speed. This fan moves the air at hurricane fast speeds to a gentle flow at low setting. The remote works from the bed room 30 feet away to keep it nice and cool inside.Install was straight forward and took about 1.5 hours. This fan is almost perfect in design, as soon as i show to my friends they know they are going to upgrade a.s.a.p.

Although on the high end of the budget, we had our small misquito fan in our Heartland North Country TT replaced with this versitile vent fan. We love the flexibility of the fan speeds, thermostat operation, in or out direction or even ceiling fan mode. Had massive 2 inch rain storm and no water came in. Great for the vertically challenged who cannot
reach the manual screw outs. This fan cannot be any better and Camping World did a great job installing it. Moisture and odor control easily. Highest recommendation.

Good Product as advertised
This is a value-added product that makes the camping experience more enjoyable. We withstood a strong rain the
day after it was installed with no leaks.
We especially enjoyed being able to adjust the fan speed from bed.

Fantastic!
Fantastic! Easy to install. It has so many functions including in/out/automatic temp! No need to buy a cover. It has its own low profile all weather cover. It moves air in or out from a gentle quiet breeze to a hurricane! I originally bought the competitors model and returned it for this one. I am so very grateful that I did! I love it!

Pricey but worth it
10 speed fan is nearly silent at 5 or less and moves lots of air above 5. Remote makes it really easy to operate. Had my front fan exhausting on high and this new one pulling air in. Created a nice breeze through the middle of the coach. Rain proof lid is a bonus when I forget and leave the lid open in storage. I really like it

Fan system Operation
I enjoy my ventilator system. The features make it easy to use and provides the needed air in a stuffy room. My wife and I wish we would have installed one earlier. We are looking at installing additional units in our trailer.

Temperature controlled fan
Easy to install if your trailer is already equipped with the wiring. Great product. Really helps to cool down area or at least circulate air in trailer as long as outside air is fair.

Can you operate 2 remote-control fans separately in a single RV (or do the remotes interfere with each other?)
Would like to install two in my 40ft RV and would like the bedroom remote to control the bedroom vent and the living room remote control the living room vent each with its own remote control and without interfering with the settings of the other fan.
Yes, the remotes are infrared based thus will not interfere with each other.

MaxxFan Deluxe or small air conditioner?
I'm thinking about overnighting in my 2-horse trailer which has a walk-through into my dressing room.
Cooling area would be: 84 sq ft.
Would the MaxxFan Deluxe keep humidity down?
Does is actually take temp down? By ~ how much?
I don't sleep well in high humidity combined with high temps. This is what keeps me from camping with friends.
The MaxxFan is just a fan, it will do a great job circulating air and do some cooling work. But a small air conditioner is going to better suited since you gives you climate control capability.
