Features
Engineered specifically for recreational boating, the Moeller Marine 6-Gallon 6 Bow Portable Fuel Tank is designed to deliver uncompromising quality and value. The tank is manufactured from high-density polyethylene with ultraviolet inhibitors for long-lasting durability. The two-stage, self-venting cap meets low-permeation standards put in place by the EPA/CARB regulations (effective 1/1/2011). A reserve fuel area is integrated into the tank by means of a partitioned bottom. When the gauge registers empty, simply tilt the tank and the reserve fuel supply becomes available. Moeller's unique 6 Bow design allows for easy storage in the bow of inflatables and dinghies; this moves the weight of the fuel up front and helps the boat plane more quickly.
