Additional Information
Never run out of LP fuel unexpectedly – accurately measure how much fuel you have using the completely wireless Mopeka TankCheck LPG Tank Check Dual Sensor with Monitor Kit. The Mopkea TankCheck is an electronic device that very accurately measures the amount of LP Gas contained in most any LP Cylinder/Bottle and communicates that information to a remote monitor, wirelessly. Thus, allowing you to be aware of how much fuel is available at all times, simply by reading the remote monitor. While specifically designed for RV use, the Tank Check is compatible with most any LP Tank/Cylinder.
Features:
  • Monitor is capable of reading two Sensors at the same time. Sensors and Monitor operate on "watch type" batteries (included).
  • Kit includes "feet pads" to assist in mounting Sensors. Includes (1) Monitor, (2) Sensors, (6) Feet Pads and (2) Screws.
  • 3 Year Mfg. Warranty If you already own a "smart device" with Bluetooth capability and want to use it for monitoring your Tank's LPG level.
  • Sensors mount to bottom of LPG Tank via magnets - designed to remain there during travel.
  • Once activated, sensors electronically measure how much LPG is in Tank.
  • Sensors communicate to Monitor without wires via Bluetooth Technology.
  • Install in minutes - simply sync devices and mount. Designed for use with two LPG Tanks.
See one of our other kits as you do not need the Monitor included in this kit to do that: SKU 90405.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tank Check Sensor Purchased in the summer of 2017 for my first winter season. Within a couple of months, the one rubber sensor came off although the manufacturer replaced it. Altogether too intermittent even when the units are a mere four feet away. Upon batter replacement for the 2018 season, neither will pair with their receive or the Android app. The sensor battery replacement is almost impossible since the wires are extremely fine and one rubber-metal sensor came off requiring re-gluing. There must be better systems out there besides these. Paid too much for something that's not worth the effort. Glad to hear some find them useful...I did not.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubber feet are no good An otherwise great product, is pretty much worthless because the rubber feet fall of and get lost. I understand they have aluminum ones now, and I don't know if they work or not, because customer service will not replace my crummy rubber ones. I have four of these sensors, and each came with three of the rubber feet. So I started with twelve of these. I am down to five remaining, because They fall off and don't make a sound. I called Customer service to ask if they would replace them, and they said I would have to order them at $9.95 per pack plus shipping. I need four packs. Seems like an awful lot of money to invest in a product I have already spent over $200.00 on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and Excellent Customer Service I purchased this kit a few months ago and have been very happy with the performance. They read accurately on both tanks and I had no trouble connecting to Bluetooth. I did have a problem with one of the sensors and reached out to Mopeka customer service by email. Their response was almost immediate and they sent me a replacement unit right away and offered a helpful suggestion to avoid future problems. In today's world, the caliber of customer service that I received was stellar and I will continue to recommend this product to others and remain a loyal customer. Thank you Mopeka !!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good gadget I loved the idea of being able to keep an eye on propane levels in the winter as a full-timer in a RV. This product does just that. I chose to get the unit with the wall-mount monitor as well as the bluetooth app. The only issue is I setup and programmed unit one and unit 2, and assigned them labels in the app, right tank and left tank. The right tank, was full. All was great. After a few days the app decided to swap them and now tank 2 was 100%; and tank 1 was 50%, but the interior monitor was still correct. After another week the interior monitor switched the tanks as well. I have reprogrammed the units and they do the same thing after a week or so. They also have a hard time being accurate in cold weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great technological advance This is an amazing product that works great. One note that they don't mention is to put some dielectric grease on the sensor before you install it, to prevent the sensor from sticking to the tank. The first time I removed the sensor so it would not get broken during transport to filling, the sensor stuck to the tank and broke. I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new sensor under warranty and advised me to use the grease. No problems since then. I use automotive rubber fuel hose to provide clearance for the sensors. The green spacers provided are worthless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Now While trying to sync up and install the sensors, one of them would not sync up neither to the phone app or the monitor. Called the number for the Mopeka support line and got an answering machine. I'll be honest, I was not feeling good about the purchase at this point. Called the technical support line the next morning and Chris walked me thru the process and suggested I change out the battery. It worked. Would have given it a 5 star, except for the dead battery. At least I know how to change out the batteries now...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not that great When I first bought them they worked great. Within 8 months one of the sensors went funny. They were great in replacing it. But I have been unable to get it to marry ever since. When I removed the unit from under the tank the magnet the sensor stayed stuck to it a broke the wires. Also, the 40lb tanks cut the green rubbers spacers in 2 that were supplied. So what I did was put wood under the tanks. If you can get them to work they are great but I personally am not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great but a couple of things to note 1.) When it says to push the button 5 times to activate the unit, you need to press it really fast. 2.)The green spacers supplied are not strong enough to support a 40 lb. tank. I used a painter's stir stick and used that as a spacer under the tank. 3.)Clean and wax the underside of the tank as the sender button will stick to the tank and come off when you remove the sender when filling. My receiver is more than 30 feet from the tanks and it works well.
