Arms are shorter for XL size so go up
Shirt is fine for hanging out in the sun. It feels heavier than other brands of sun protecting polyester shirts. It also feels like very cheap fabric because it has no give or softness like the other brands. The design looks fine, but the arms are short. I thought these would be more like the brand Real Legend that is sold at Bealls Florida, but they are not. I bought these so that you don't burn up when you're in the sun all day.
