Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best All Around Heater We full time and park in the winter (33' TT); Our TT is an '08, and we have never fired the furnace up. The Model MH9BX works flawless, and keeps us toasty warm. Temps now are highs in the upper 30' and lows in the mid-teens. We can easily relax in our PJ's or shirt sleeves all evening. Quality of the unit is excellent, and performance is top notch. I would not hesitate to purchase another one if it was needed; but one works great. We bought the extra long 12' hose and filter for the unit........this way we can hook up to a 20# LPG bottle that will last 4-7 days depending on whether we are using the low or high settings. Safe and dependable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves a ton of $ on propane I've had one of these for several years. Recently, I bought the Mr Heater propane bottle refill adapter so I can refill the 1 pound bottles from a 20 pound. This is saving me a lot of money on propane. It is very safe. The automatic shut off features are almost too sensitive. You bump it at all and it shuts down immediately and turns off the gas flow. It puts out a lot of water vapor, which is kind of good in cold weather, although I'm thinking of getting a small dehumidifier of some kind because my non-therompane windows do get pretty dripping wet. We are full timers and even though we winter in Florida, this is getting plenty of use. The recent Florida winters have been unusually cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Emergency heat We used one of these when the furnace in our 24' trailer went out. With outside temperature of about 45-50, this unit kept us warm inside on the low setting. I was worried about the low oxygen shut off, especially with my kids in the trailer, but out CO sensor in the trailer never went off. The only problem was it states on low, it should last 6 hours on a 1 lb bottle. We only got 3 hours on the low setting but maybe it just needed to break in or something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Little Heater Hi All. We bought one of these Mr Heaters when they first came out. If you follow the directions, this Heater is as Safe as can be. We never, ever use our 5er's Furance at all. We do mostly Dry-camping/Boondocking. I do carry a couple of the small 1 lb Propane Bottles with us, for just in case. We have a rear outside Shower that I can being in a 12 foot hose to use with the Mr Heater, with a 20 lb spare Propane Tank. We also added an Olypian Wave #6 Propane Heater as well. The Mr Heater is good to about 6000 ft. The Wave #6 Propane Heater is good to 12,000 ft. We also do winter camping. We have camped well below the Zero point and then some. Between both of these heaters, we can easily get cooked out, at any temp. We also enjoy the peace and quite of these Heaters. And no use of your Batteries. We also use these heaters all night long. Using these Heaters really can extend the length of time that we can stay out Dry-Camping. Both of these Heaters sure use a whole lot less Propane than any RV Furance, plus their about 98 % effecent. Good Luck. Happy Camping. Dan & Jill
