Can't live without it!
The kit was easy to install, though I had to make an extension to the propane gauge splash shield to accomodate it. Since installing it, I have not had to worry about whether I had any disposable propane bottles for the camp barbecue - plus, I can connect an inexpensive portable barbecue bottle (20# - 40#) and run the RV systems on it in the event I misjudge my propane level and run out. Very easy to hook lines to, plus accepts standard lines for disposable and portable tanks. These should be standard equipment on every RV!

Stay A While
This adapter works great. I have a horizontal tank compartment with limited space. Since the output threads of the adapter were the same as the input line to my regulator, I removed the extra fitting and mounted the regulator input tube directly to the adapter. This saved at least one and half inches of space. Plus it reduces the vibration stress on the fitting. My regulator hanging on the end was only supported with a plastic housing.

Well built product
Installed myself and I'm not a professional. Tight working space in motor home compartment made it
a little difficult. Also, you need to be aware of space limitations due to additional length between tank
valve and any obstructions in the compartment. So far it is working as advertised

will this work on a motorhome 1999 dutch star
This product is universal in application, if a confirmation of fit is required then the fittings would have to be identified on your motorhome. However, propane configurations on RV's do not deviate too much from one another. Here are two videos that can be watched on how this tee is installed and how to attach the auxiliary tank. While the actual product in the videos are from a different manufacturer, the design is exactly the same.
Adding a Propane distribution system to a RV
Connecting Your RV To External Propane
