They will help you throw a tantrum -not the trick
I only had these for a couple seasons (maybe 20 sessions on the water) this spring I caught and edge and exploded the boot. There are little plastic clips holding the boot to the plate and it broke several of them. I keep my gear inside and dry when not in use so they were still in mint condition when they broke. Also, it is hard to find thumb screws to mount them to the board and hard falls strip out the plate causing the boot to slide around. Maybe I just crash too hard?
The plus about them is they are easy to get in and out of. I might recommend for a new rider that's less than 180 lbs.
