Simple and functional ladder rack
I wanted a rack on the trailer ladder for holding chairs while traveling. My concerns were that the chair bracket
would interfer with being able to get to the roof, when needed and have to be removed and reinstalled each time
involving tools. I found the bracket very simple to just hang over the ladder when used and lift off when not needed.
I even use it to hold the chairs in the garage, when we are not traveling. In the garage, I just hang the bracket on a
vertically stored extension ladder and the chairs hang there ready to use. I'm not seeing any deterioration of the
finish, but not certain how it will hold up in the long run.

Great Product
We were really surprised at how sturdy this rack is! We now have storage room to stow our chairs so this chair rack isn't used when we are traveling. However, once we reach our destination, we put our chairs, as well as our grill stand on it when we go inside for the night. It keeps the chairs clean in case of a rainstorm and keeps them in our camp in case of a windstorm. No more chasing them down! A simple bungy cord around them keeps them safe and in place. I also use it with a circular clothes line to dry towels, etc. I am finding more uses each trip we take. I highly recommend this rack to any one.

Simple solution to carrying bulky lounge chairs
Simple to use and creates a convenient way to carry two large zero gravity chairs. We hang it up high on the ladder and use two ratcheting straps to strap the chair snug to the ladder. They don't move while driving, yet are easy to pull down and use whenever we want them. We are also able to clear two mountain bikes on a hitch bike rack. This rack solved the problem of where to carry our lounge chairs out of the way, yet keep them accessible when we want to use them.

PERFECT WAY TO CARRY YOUR CHAIRS
We finally purchased a nice high end pair of lawn chairs but found them two large to fit in
any of our compartments easily and without getting them dirty and dinged up. Our only
alternative was to hump them into the motorhome and put them in the shower stall. We did
this for a season and it was a real pain, the chairs we purchased are large and heavy and
getting them inside was such a hassle so we purchased the chair hanging bracket and the
cover bag. The hardest part is lifting both chairs in the bag with the bracket already attached
through the chairs and bag up high enough on the roof ladder to clear the break lights
(which is pretty high up). The bracket is plenty strong and while the bag is not water proof it
doses keep the chairs clean. I put three bungee cords around the hung chairs and we are
good to go!!

Convenient & Sturdy
This was a winning purchase. We travel to beach in our RV and had been storing our beach chairs inside the RV. This meant that everytime we put the chairs in the camper we would have to brush off all the sand and find a place to store them without damaging the interior. We're not tripping over them anymore or tracking in sand. Now we have a spot for the chairs and the inside of the camper isn't cluttered. Who couldn't use more storage place in their camper!

GREAT addition for organization!
We hated hauling our zero gravity chairs to camp because they are so heavy, large and cumbersome! Our basement storage was not wide or high enough to store our chairs and we did not like the idea of putting them inside the RV. Saw this item and knew we had our solution! I ordered two thinking that three chairs would not fit on one rack - I was wrong! Our three full size zero-gravity chairs fits on one rack! With bungee cords to
keep the chairs from bouncing and a locked bike cable to keep them from walking off during storage, this rack solved our chair storage and transport issues. I now use the other rack in my garage to hold our ladder and hoses. If you have a ladder on the back of your camper, you have to have at least one of these!

Not square - needs straightening
We used this rack to hold two zero gravity lounge chairs to the back ladder using two locking nylon straps (non-ratcheting type). The rack tilted to one side slightly because it is not "square". My husband needs to try to straighten it, if that's possible. You don't notice that it's not square until you put weight on it.
Although it held our 2 chairs fine, I don't think it would hold more than 2 zero gravity lounge chairs or 2 bicycles. I think more that than would be too much weight and will stretch out the metal at the top.

Over-the-Ladder Chair and Bike Rack
So far the rack is working great. It fit just right on the roof ladder. I hang an 8ft aluminum
ladder on the rack and so far no problems with the rack holding up to the task. The only
reason I gave it a 4 is because to date we have not put many miles with the rack in
service. I expect it will hold up to the challenge.

Why is it not suitable for some mountain bikes?
That is mainly due to the weight restriction of 40 pounds. Some mountain bikes do not have a full vertical post in front of the rear wheel, which is needed for mounting on this rack.
