Excellent Trailer Ladder
Many of the reviews here said that the U bracket didn’t fit their winch stand. I expected this may also be an issue for me because I have a 4 x2” stand but I decided to order it. It arrived the day before the first estimated delivery day. Sweet! The bracket was longer than the width of the stand so I needed a new bracket. Instead, I was able to buy a brass spacer tube to fill the space inside the threads. The tubes came in different thicknesses so I purchased the thickest one for strength plus two extra washers. As this may sound confusing I’m inclosing two pictures.
This bracket is outstanding. I have looked at many others and custom ones, all are FAR more expensive. This one is perfect for me.

Sturdy boat trailer Step/U bolt problem
Very paractical solution for loading and unloading boat solo. Only provblem is my mounting pole was 3"X3" and the provided U bolt was too big. Had to get a 31/8" X4 stainless u bolt. Also My set up required to me to drill 2 new holes higher on center bracket of step to work. See pictures. Very sturdy no rust aluminum. I like it.

Boat trailer step
The step is sturdy but the clamp doesn’t hold it tight enough. Had to drill a hole an put a bolt in it to stabilize it.

Two step
Would like a lot better if the bracket allowed for different angles.Other than that it’s ok

Design could be improved
The steps are mounted to their frame from center to the starboard side. I had wished the steps were centered or available in both a starboard and port option. As far as the U bolt goes, either don't supply it or ask customer for post size when ordering. The thin rubber edge guards were already damaged in the box. They were so thin they weren't worth replacing.

Read the fine print
Read the fine print. Says it will fit "most" pontoon trailers, it will NOT fit a winch post that is straight up and down. Seems to be difficult returning it.

Will not work on my ski trailer, I wt 285 and I'm not going to stand on it and I'm not going to let anyone else use it.
