To comply with increasingly stringent restrictions on antifouling paints, Pettit Marine Paint has introduced Vivid Free. With the same vibrant colors and attributes as Vivid, new Vivid Free is not only copper-free, but also completely metal-free. Without the use of copper or any other metals, boats are protected against slime, algae, barnacles, and other marine fouling. Also reduces coating buildup and ensures underwater surfaces stay clean and smooth. Boats using this nonoxidizing formulation can be hauled out and relaunched without recoating. EPA approved and safe for use on fiberglass, aluminum, or wood hulls.
