Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is probably a great product, I'm giving it 1 star because of packaging! The instructions are easy to understand so after 2 days of my husband and I trying to re-string a day/night shade we decided to watch the utube video. On the video it says to look at the top of your shade for an item # and if the # includes the letters BAU this kit will probably not work!!! Look for the letters BAU before buying this kit because it absolutely WILL NOT work. My only complaint is that it does not say this anywhere on the package.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like new again At first I was apprehensive to do this repair myself. I had a retailer ask me if i had ever tried this before and said it wasn't easy. Well, I'm glad I tried it. This kit had everything I needed and the instructions were easy to follow. In the end, my shades were repaired and work like new. For me, the hardest part was re-hanging the shades after the repair was complete

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Restringing shades Easy to do yourself, just cut new string to length and thread it threw the shade; might want to collapse the shade and scotch tape together to hold it.
