Would you be able to run your air conditioners using this converter?
I've found that 15amp service is not enough to operate the ac in my camper. You can run the fan on the unit, but it will not allow the ac to cycle. You'd need at least a minimum of 30amp to run the ac, in my experience.

What do you mean by "essential power"?
Charging systems for the house batteries would be an example of 'essential power'.
