Worth carrying in your RV !
I purchased this (50A Male/30A Female) power grip adaptor for use in campgrounds where only 50A service was available for my 30A travel trailer. I have subsequently used it on several occasions where the 30 A plug at the pole was either badly worn or broken. The grip is nice for safely connecting or removing the adaptor from the park
power post. I would recommend purchasing this adapter for just those situations.

This adapter is very sturdy, and is just what we needed to use a 50a electrical hookup for our 30a camper. Very little chance of tripping off the power. Thanks, Camping World!

Power Grip Adapter
This adapter does work however the 50 amp service is 220 volts which is two 25 amp
leads. This adapter must take power from only one side which means it is actually
a 25 to 30 amp adapter. Power will be lower than a 30 amp service.

Some camp grounds don't have a 30amp plug but only a 50amp and it came in real hamdy, a musthave.
