    The CCD Color Camera is built with heavy-duty zinc metal which encases the 2.1mm Sharp lens. It has a viewing angle of 130° and 540 TV lines, meaning you get the best quality image with no blind spots. The nine infra-red lights allow you to see up to 50' even in the darkest of night, and the foam around the lens guarantees no glare from these infra-red lights. An Auto Iris Sensor automatically adjusts the infra-red strength based on outside light. The camera boasts a 20G vibration rating and with an IP68 waterproof rating that is fit to ride out any storm.

    Wirelessly connect the camera to the 7" TFT LCD Color Monitor with no interference for up to 70'. An ultra-sharp digital display and pixel resolution of 800x480 gives you a clear picture of the area behind you. It comes with a removable sunshade and distance grid lines for backing up reference. With one camera connected, the monitor can display a full screen view. With two cameras connected, you can split the screen to view both cameras simultaneously. The monitor has built-in speakers and a menu which can be navigated with the on-dash backlight illuminated buttons.     The monitor advertises build in speakers so does the camera have a microphone to pick up a person helping while the trailer is being backed up?

    The camera has to be hardwired to the RV's electrical system, commonly spliced in to the wiring for the clearance lights.

    If the trailer frame is aluminum but has a fiberglass body, a wireless camera sound receive very little inference. The problem is with any unit that has a full metal body like an Airstream trailer, some horse trailers, or a trailer/motorhome that has all aluminum siding.
