No it does not. The Kwik Slide has three settings, 'Locked Towing', 'Unlocked', and 'Locked Maneuvering'. For the most part the kwik slide is to be in 'Locked Towing' position and switched to 'Locked Maneuvering' when needed. Instruction Manual

If you have a factory installed tow package and have a long bed; SKU#85106 or SKU#86246(Reese#30160) would be recommended. For a short bed with factory tow package, mounting adapter SKU#77067(Reese#30154) is needed and any standard hitch up, like SKU#19940, to 25k can be used.

If your truck does not have the factory tow package, SKU#19940 is not truck specific, but will need rail kit SKU#12689 and bracket kit Reese#58522 to be mounted.

Yes, this fifth wheel hitch can be used on your truck since the bed length is considered 'short'. You will just need to make sure that the 5th wheel gross weight is under 16,000 lbs. so the capability of the hitch is not exceeded.
