Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refillable Steel Propane Cylinder- 11lb. I am pleased with the new tank. However, I purchased a Coleman stove over a year ago (Not from Camping World) I have been using the small tanks as fuel and wanted to upgrade thus the purchase of the above cylinder. I had purchased a 5ft. propane hose assy. (No. 30338) during the winter. Upon hooking up the new tank and trying it I got nothing, could not even light the stove. Thinking it might be the tank I brought it back to my propane supplier. He said it might be an air lock. He checked it and said it was fine. Long story short, it turned out to be a defective hose assembly I purchase during the winter. Never used until the above was tried. Anyway I borrowed a friends hose and it works fine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from dented and rusty The first one was dented and I decided i didn't want it so I returned it for a second one. It was worse, not only dented but rusty. I went to one of their stores in breaux bridge and guess what. the tanks there were rusty and dented also. Where is quality control . Got part of my refund and still waiting on the second part, shipping. I don't want to really say anything bad about them but they need to get their quality control fixed. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lacking Quality Normally I like Worthington propane cylinders, however the latest one I received had quite a bit of welding spatter that was not removed before the cylinder was painted. This left a lot of sharp points on the exterior of the cylinder. I waited quite a long time for it to arrive after I placed my order. At this point I'll just figure out a way to fix it. I'm pretty disappointed in the overall quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boondocking Perfect size for inside of motorhome using Mr. Buddy heater. Didn't want to run furnace and discharge batteries while boondocking. Got a full weeks use when weather was in the 20's at night.

In regards to: Item No. 56053 , Can this tank be used and/or stored horizontally ?

Asked by: QUADRA
I am not an employee of any Rv shop, but I did work as a propane mechanic years ago.  I would not recommend that you use this is a horizontal position. Most propane regulators are not designed to work with liquid propane.  When the tank is standing up that is always gas at the top of the tank.  If you lay it down then the gas at the top of the tank will move to the side allowing the liquid to settle in the area of the tank valve.  If the valve is then opened it would be the liquid propane that would exist the tank instead of the propane gas.
