The Roadmaster 98146-7 Power Cord contains 6 wires to conduct lighting signals between the RV and the towed vehicle. This 6-wire kit provides additional circuits for a charge line or supplemental braking system monitor wire. A 6-wire cord is also required for wiring a separate brake and turn signal motorhome to a separate brake and turn signal towed vehicle.
Straight power cords are designed to route through the cable channels of Roadmaster tow bars. This prevents dragging and provides a clean professional appearance. Roadmaster's high-quality power cords are water, oil, and chemical resistant. The electrical plugs are injected with silicone sealant to prevent wires from fraying or shorting and to seal out moisture that can cause corrosion.
