I would like to have the safety cables, and the electrical connectors mounted to the tow bar frame, like the sterling tow bar has.

The Falcon 2 tow bar is universally compatible with vehicle make/model under 6,000 lbs. The make/model specific component are the tow brackets, for your vehicle we have the tow brackets listed as SKU#35037. These brackets will fit a Grand Cherokee from 2005 to 2010 as long at the vehicle does not have a brushguard or is an SRT-8 model.

I tried putting it on a dolly and it was to low need other options
If the distance between your receiver hitch and the dolly is too far, have you looked at a 'High-Low' drop hitch like item# 21578? Or an adjustable ball mount like item# 35873?

The tow bars are technically universal. As is, this will connect to any tow bracket manufactured by Road Master Inc. adapters can usually be fitted to the tow bars to work with Blue Ox. The vehicle specific part are the brackets, for your vehicle use item# 49091. This tow bracket will fit years 2007-2011 except for the XLE model.

As a note, please double check your owner's manual, some models can not be flat towed and a tow dolly or trailer is the only option.
