Great Tow Bar
Had this tow bar installed on my 2012 Wind Sport in Mar 2012 anong with the Invisi
Brake on my Subaru Impreza. I'm very pleased with entire tow package as its so simple to attach your car and quicly get going. Everything has performed so well that
has greatly enhance my Rving experience. The Tow bar is very light weight to
hitc/unhitch your car. The safety cables are so easy to install in the grooved
attachment. This is my my first experience towing a vehicle, but its ease of operation
has greatly convinced me its a worthwhile investment. Haven't had any problems and
highly recomend it.

Up keep
I agree with the other people's comments about how easy it is to work however it is not the lightest piece equipment. I always do my own maintenance on my vehicles and equipment however, Roadmaster provides little to no instructions on how to maintain the bar. All the bushing in mine went south because dirt got inside and I never cleaned it with the proper product. When I called Roadmaster for parts "because of the lack of knowledge" the order clerk sold me parts to partially repair two tow bars. I didn't find this out until I received the parts and had to call back for the additional parts plus make arrangements to return the extra parts. Roadmaster will sell you and bill your for parts in a second however they won't refund your money for 45 "working" days once you return the part. These tow bars must to be cleaned and lubricated however if you use the wrong products it eats up the bushings inside. When it comes to Customer Service Roadmaster leaves much to be desired.

'The best hitch ever made.
I talked to my RV buddy about his sterling all - terrain hitch. He sold me on how well it performed for him. I removed the red 6-wire cable and installed the wire I was using on our RV. I bought a less expenisive hitch before. I should have bought this one first.

We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee will i need to buy something extra or is this hitch all I need?
I just purchased a 2016 Cherokee Overland and learned that Jeep started using an electrical / electronic steering system in 2015. Jeep sells an additional wiring harness that MUST be used to prevent damage to the steering system.

Can you use a tow bar on a Honda Fit
If there are Roadmaster tow brackets available for your year and trim level, yes. First thing to check would be if your Honda Fit is flat towable to begin with and should be stated in the owner's manual. Roadmasters Tow Bar Mounting Brackets application will provide a manufacturer part number if tow brackets are available. Once a manufacturer part number is confirmed, brackets can be ordered through Sales @ 888.626.7576 as they are not listed on our website.
