Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roadmaster Tow Dolly This tow dolly is well worth the price. I have been using mine for almost 2 years behind our 40 ft.motorhome pulling a 2008 Impala. This dolly loads easily and tows great. I do use 18 inch pieces of 2X8 on ramps to aid in the low clearance of the car. Works fine. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a Dolly. Although the price is a lot lower than most on the market, the quality is very good. We have been traveling the southwest and into a lot of mountainous areas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming. No problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Roadmaster tow dolly I did not actually pruchase the product for one reason: the tie straps, provided with the product are for a maximum 16 wheels,. My car has 17 wheels, and an increasing number of vehicles come with 17, 18 or 19 wheels. I am now looking for some other product that will be able to accomodate my needs, but I think that Camping World should look into this situation: it impairs the usefullness of an otherwise fine product..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Potential failure in bearing and bake assembly I assembled dolly per instructions. Took dolly on test run behind RV with car loaded, Approx. 2 miles. Right Hub was running very hot and electric brakes were not working so I disassembled both wheel hubs. The right wheel bearing nut was over torqued causing excessive wheel bearing load, causing hub great excessive heat. Both brake magnets had lube between the magnets and the drums. This caused no friction between magnet and drum thus no braking of the dolly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to love it, but I couldn't. This tow dolly travels great when loaded and the brakes are fantastic. My issues are with design, loading and the electric brakes. Tthe ramps hang out and the pin must be pulled to load or off load. If someone forgets to pull the pin when off loading the ramps will bend and probably be destroyed. On loading, the stop for the tires is about 3' tall. It takes very little momentum to bounce the tires over the stop and land the car on the draw bar.
