Good replacement handle
I bought this to replace an old l300 on my motorhome. It is sturdy. The installation was a bit more difficult than I anticipated, but I am not very handy. I needed longer screws to secure the inside and outside together and to add a slight modification to the door as the old protruding bars unscrewed so these needed a larger hole. The biggest difference was replacing the old latch receiver with the new one, as the new one has a deadbolt on top. The latch receiver has to be removed toward the inside of the coach. Once out, the old one went right back in and all is well. It is very secure!

The two locks are keyed alike at the factory.

Does this lock from the inside also?
I assume no deadbolt on this model, correct?
Yes, you can lock this latch from the inside.<p>This latch does have a deadbolt which is why it has two keyed locks on it. The lock on the corner is for the deadbolt.

would this work on a 1978 Dodge Minnie Winnie?
The current cutout and latch will need to be compared against SKU#77066 to verify fit.
