Bright LEDs can be seen easily from the comfort of your driver’s seat. Two-way level measures both front-to-back and side-to-side on the vehicle. Each red LED shows the number of risers needed to achieve level. Green LEDs illuminate when RV is level. Installs with 3M adhesive or can be permanently mounted. 5”L x 3 ½”W x 1 ¼”D. Requires one “AA” battery (sold separately).

Smart Level

With the trailer level and SMART-LEVEL not folded out it shows front-to-back level. But when flipped around 180 degrees so that yo...u can see front-to-back level when viewing from the trailer tongue, the LEDs show the level is off by two LEDs. Also, when opened to the 90 degree position in order to view side-to-side level, the SMART-LEVEL tilts down due to slop between the bracket and the SMART-LEVEL unit itself. This causes the side-to-side level to be off by two LEDs. I can not recommend the Hopkins SMART-LEVEL.

Dissapointed

Set it up for attaching by using the adhesive backing. Within three hours of putting this on the trailer, it fell off. The adhesi...ve failed where it was attached to the unit, it was still well stuck on the trailer. Other than that, it's a unit that has potential.

Great Idea

Like most of us out there it's a guessing game as to how many blocks to add to get level. This device takes the guessing out of it.... Each light is 1-1/2f; so you know exactly how many to use. I installed it using the tape and screws. The unit can be removed from the bracket which is great for winter storage. It allows for front to back leveling and side to side. So one unit does it all. The bars are illuminated and you get an indication when you are level. This unit is worth the money.

Is this made for fith wheels or Class A RV's?
