Twin Trak on Fiamma awning
I bought the twin trak and they would have been very easy to install if they had fit my Fiamma awning. The desciption said it fits most awnings but they had to be modified to fit my Fiamma. I had to take a tin snip and cut off one side of the T-edge so I could slide them into the groove. Once in they work fine. It took about 20 minutes to cut the edge off. The edge I cut was the bottom. When weight is applied, the top edge is in the top slot and holds the weight nicely. Since the Fiamma only has an insert hole on the front I can leave the Twin Trak in all the time. If an awning has insert holes on both ends I doubt if the Twin Trak can be left in while driving.

Changed my Rating... here's why
I originally posted a 1 star review becasue while the idea was great, my TwinTrak
popped out. I am changing my review to 5 stars for 2 reasons. First is the mod I tried with the duct tape worked great. And upon inspection, the problem may be that my 15 year old awning has spread a bit with age (just like me). But more important, I went to the manufacturer web site and left a comment. Got follow
up email and phone call in less than a day. Dennis at TwinTrak offered several ideas in case my duct tape fix didn't work. Any company that still knows how to do customer service like that gets a 2 thumbs up and 5 star from me. And with the mod to accommodate my awning's spread.., it works perfectly.

NO PROBLEMS HERE
I purchaced this product a while ago and have used it several times with no problems. I found if I install the Twintrak on on my sun shade first, it make the install to my awning very easy with just one person. I have an A & E Weather Pro electric awning, Now I have a freind that
has a Girard awning that the Twintrak does fall out of the track, because its just a little wider, He contacted the manufacturer and they had a fix for that at No charge. He thought that was great and is now very pleased with the RV Twintrak

Lights with our screen room!
Absolutely love it. We have a camco screen room that used to be a
bear to slide into the track on our awning - we slipped the screen
room front into the track on the twin trak - the twin trak goes in so
easily I can slide the whole front panel in with one finger! Not only
that - now I can have both - the screen room & dragonfly lights! The
sections cut easily to size using a hack saw.

Greatest since sliced bread !!
I got the RvTwinTrak to use with my Add-A- Room, Works great, Love how it makes
hanging lights easy and clean looking. I also have a 2nd set that I leave installed on my sun drape as it shows on the packaging, I now can install my 18' drape by myself !!

Great idea, After a little trimming of the sharp corners to help to flex into the track, had to have a second person pull my awning to its extreme opening to slide the track in, once in , it does the job!

This item was the perfect solution to hanging a sun
blocker and still have the ability to hang lights. I
used it for the first time while in oklahoma and even
in high winds it held with no problems.

Had to have it !!!

Can you roll up the awning with this and the rope lighting installed?
It is not recommended to leave this installed when rolling up your awning, it may damage the fabric of your awning.
