Vehicle Compatibility – The ScanGauge is designed to plug directly into the OBDII diagnostics connector under the dash of 1996 and new cars and light trucks.
Easy-to-Install with No Tools Required – Installs in just minutes without tools. Simply plug the ScanGauge into the diagnostic connection under the dash.
No Batteries Required – The single connection to the diagnostic connector under the dashboard is all that is needed.
Automatic Protocol Determination – ScanGauge automatically determines the protocol your vehicle uses and connects.
6' Cord and Deluxe Window Mount – The ScanGauge can be mounted up to 6' from the under-dash diagnostic connector. The included Suction-Cup Windshield Mount allows the ScanGauge to be quickly detached and then used to troubleshoot other vehicles.

X-Gauge – In addition to the standard set of gauges, ScanGauge 3 also includes the exclusive X-Gauge technology. With X-Gauge, you can add additional vehicle specific gauges automatically with its new Auto Scan for X-Gauges or by manually entering them.
Automatic Trip Computers – With four built-in trip computers, the ScanGauge can keep track of everything from fuel cost to distance traveled and everything in between. Data is stored on the ScanGauge and is retained even when the power is disconnected. Each trip computer starts automatically and information is available anytime during the trip.
Turn Off the Check Engine Light – The ScanGauge 3 can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and, if found, can display how many there are and the Trouble Codes themselves along with the code meaning. You're also able to view pending codes if there are any to catch problems before they become worse. The ScanGauge 3 can scan your vehicle for emissions readiness and let you know what if any tests have not passed before you take your vehicle in for emissions testing.
