Current sailboat designs often have very open cockpits with few options for installing retrofitted instruments. The Scanpod Rail-Mount Helm Pod gives you the option to fit smaller displays and instruments directly onto a standard or curved rail, in a position that suits you. The 7" Rail-Mount Helm Pod fits pedestal rails from 0.98" to 1.33" (25mm to 33.7mm). Cables are routed internally through the clamp and onto the rail. The pod seal is manufactured from a high-tear-strength silicone with a very high resistance to heat and UV, so you can have confidence that it won't deteriorate over time.
