Additional Information
The SEAFLO 42 Series 3.0 GPM Variable-Flow Automatic-Demand Water Pressure Pump is a 4-chamber model capable of supplying up to 3.0 GPM. The 42 Series features Variable Flow Technology with an internal bypass feature that allows the pump to provide the amount of water you demand without cycling. No accumulator tank is necessary! The pump can be used in both fresh and saltwater applications, making it ideal for supplying water to up to 4 fixtures or using it as a raw water washdown pump. The completely rubber mounting base isolates pump vibration for very quiet operation.

The 42 Series diaphragm pump is self-priming up to 6 vertical feet and can run dry without harm. The built-in adjustable pressure switch automatically starts and stops the pump when the faucet is opened or closed. The pressure switch is factory set to 55 PSI pressure cutoff, but this setting can be adjusted up or down by the user. It comes with two 1/2" barbed fittings and one strainer. 4-year warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Like This Pump Installed this pump without any problem. Fit in exact same spot as the Shur Flow that was original on my rig. Both are rated at 55 PSI and 3.0 GPM, but there's really no comparison in my opinion. Definitely more water being delivered to the sinks and shower. It does what it advertises and slows down with less demand. Quiet. No complaints with the product or Camping World getting here on time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a quiet pump! Replaced a Sureflo with this Seaflo brand. All rubber legs/mounts makes a big difference in vibration noise. This pump is so quiet I barely hear it in the compartment. My old pump was so loud, it sounded like a train going by. And the constant pressure is incredible. Very satisfied!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seaflow 42 series water pump. Bought this pump for a transfer pump. It’s self priming, quick and quiet. I mounted it to a plastic outdoor electrical box, mounted a toggle switch to the box and a fuse and all the connections inside the box with a power cord long enough to reach the battery. Awesome pump.

How does it connect to a battery and how long will it pump on a 12 volt marine battery?

Asked by: JS Reid
Per the specs it has a 9.4" 2 pin connector. How you hook that to your battery is up to you. Most pumps I have been looking at have this connection. The pump I am replacing is from 1984 and is hardwired straight to the battery so I will most likely cut the end off and hardwire this one. As far as how long it will pump on a 12 volt marine battery there are far to many variables to answer that for you. It has a maximum draw of 7.5 amps. That is going to change depending on your setup i.e. how high is it trying to lift the water. Another variable would be how long it is being used. Is this something you're doing that is continuous use or in a camper where it's only kicking on when you open the faucet. Also not all marine batteries hold the same amount of power.
