Not compatible with other brands of awnings - fits only those Carefree awnings noted. Includes the complete replacement spring assembly, ships with no tension. WARNING - This replacement part requires working with the awning roller springs which are under tension. When removed from the arm, the spring is under EXTREME tension and will unwind quickly. Keep hands clear while FIRMLY holding the vice grips. Do not try to hold the end plug by hand. Failure to follow the instructions can result in personal injury.
