Create your own custom digital instrument displays, bringing a wealth of information to even the most crowded dash while keeping a clean look with as few gauges as possible.

Watch Your Depth with Built-in Sonar
Knowing the true depth beneath your hull can help you enjoy your time on the water with fewer worries, and makes it easier to locate suitable anchorages in unfamiliar waters. With built-in sonar, just add a suitable sonar transducer for accurate, real-time depth tracking. A scrollable depth history view lets you track back and easily set waypoints for promising anchorages, while StructureScan Imaging combines DownScan and SideScan sonar to offer a picture-like view of the bottom beneath your vessel.

Cruise Confidently with ForwardScan Sonar
Using an optional ForwardScan transducer, this forward-looking sonar technology provides a clear two-dimensional image of the bottom in front of your vessel, allowing you to navigate shallow or poorly-charted waters with confidence. With real-time updates and a forward-looking view of up to eight times your current depth, ForwardScan lets you relax and enjoy a safer day on the water.

Find fish with CHIRP & StructureScan HD sidescan imaging
Whether fishing is your life or just a casual hobby, any fishing trip will benefit from the extensive array of built-in sonar technology on the Simrad GO9 XSE. Add a suitable transducer, available separately or bundled with your display, and the GO9 XSE works as a powerful fishfinder with CHIRP-enabled broadband sonar for clear detection of fish throughout the water column. With an optional HDI or TotalScan transducer, the GO9 XSE also offers StructureScan HD sidescan imaging for a picture-like view of fish-holding structure beneath and around your boat.

Stream music from Bluetooth® connected tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices, play MP3 files from a USB flash drive, or listen to the SonicHub 2's built-in AM/FM radio. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed a Faster GPS I bought this as I needed a faster GPS but only use the fish finder as with Chrip you can see the Salmon, I had heard that with Chirp you would be able to see Salmon and it has helped me get more fish. I wanted a faster GPS cause my GPS is old and slow and the guys fishing with me can’t keep the boat on track. I do not use my GO9 GPS as I have not been able to figure out how to add a Quick point on the screen when I hook a fish so I can go back to that spot. Having to make a waypoint takes to long and is a lot of work when your trying to land a fish and only have seconds to set the hook and get your downrigger lines up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great This unit was offered as optional equipment installed on our new 2018 Sea Ray boat. The device fits well with dashboard design. The device integrates seamlessly with the smartcraft system on the Mercury twins. The mapping system works well also. Glad we ordered it on the boat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but can be improved I like the features and the ease of navigating the menus. I do wish the power button was more of a push button than a touch screen though. Every time I try to clean the screen, it turns on and I have to wait for it to load before being able to turn it off. On my first unit, the screen blew and I was able to get the until replaced. I do wish I had the 12" version though...getting old and the eyes aren't what they used to be. I'm also looking into getting the Active 3n1 transducer, as I have the older Total Scan and the online clarity of the newer Active Imaging seems to be A LOT better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to set up and use. We like our Go 9 very much . Navigation and fish finding is really simple. Our unit came with a plastic dust cover that is near impossible to get off. When removing it it also removes the screen bezel which in turn has to be re installed on the unit. Setting the clock is not that easy as I had to find out about Greenwich Mean Time..Also when drifting for fish or otherwise the unit has a hard time finding north. To me the north trouble is the most important. The other stuff is minor and not of much consequence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and looks sleek Bought this for my new Mako 20 ft. center console. Fits nicely in the dash of my console and looks great with it's low profile. Like the down scan and side scan options with Chirp capability. The tides feature is very handy. Like any new GPS or depth sounder, there is a significant learning curve with the interface. The only notable downside is the plastic screen cover fits too tightly. The first time the boat dealer demo'd the new installation in my boat he broke the screen frame trying to get the cover off. Even to this day the cover has to be removed very carefully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use, quick response I fish on the Pacific ,mainly out of Port San Luis and Morro Bay Ca. The features I like the most are the bottom graphics and shading of couture combinations that are available. I also like the chart / radar overlay features that are of great assist when navigating out of ports on foggy Pacific mornings.Very easy to use compared to other units I have used in the past . I would recommend this unit to any of my fishing friends. My unit is paired with a 3G radar unit and a Airmar heading sensor that really gets the most out of the Simrad GS09 .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great unit, great features I bought this unit during the summer of 2019, after using it for a year now I still love it as much as the day I got it.I use a lot of features such as Radar, 3 in 1 transducer, sidescan, downscan, and each one works great. The touch screen is easy to see even on full sun days. The touch screen also works even when it’s covered in saltwater or sunscreen.I will definitely be purchasing another Simrad in the future when the time comes and I can’t say enough good stuff about how well their products perform.Highly recommend this!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Technology above and beyond! I switched from Raymarine (on my old boat) to Simrad when I purchased my new one. After watching videos and reviews and deciding to go with Simrad I am VERY pleased with my purchase! The advanced features and abilities of this little unit are beyond reproach! The only thing I would change (hence the 4 star rating) would be to sell the unit with the HI DEF transducer instead of the basic one it comes with which does not support the split screen feature. Other than that I will be a loyal Simrad user for a long time to come!
