Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of garbage - don't buy it! We had this installed by Camping World on our travel trailer a year and a half ago when we purchased the trailer. Had an issue with it not working in one of our first times out. Last night it became obsessed - started running with no one near it. Then it raised the jack the entire way up. We had to manually lower the jack to support the trailer as we were at a camp ground. We have tried to reach Camping World to get the issue resolved. No one will return the call.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed with this purchase I have had this jack for two years now and the keypad has fallen apart even though I keep my trailer under covered storage. Although it works well for now I know that it will fail as soon as it gets water or dirt into the the circuit board. This is a common problem with this jack and there was even a recall from Lippert, but mine was manufactured after the recall, so I would have to question what was improved after the recall. No replacement parts are available for this unit, so you would have to buy a complete new jack. When I have to replace it I will buy another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap flimsy switch cover My Rockwood signature light came with this and I assure you it’s a cheap piece of junk- the switch cover will just blow off. Once this happens water enters and fuses will blow. After this happens you are at the mercy of the jack deployment either all the way up or down. This product has been recalled, however don’t expect any help from manufacturers in getting it replaced. No one will accept the responsibility of replace- neither Forest River or the jack manufacturing company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not well built Bought this approximately 14 months ago and this summer the control pad crumbled and flaked away leaving just the exposed plastic buttons beneath. After a light misting of rain the union no longer functions. Complete junk. Don't buy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Front plastic disintegrated This was put on my trailer a couple years ago and the front panel is plastic and completely disintegrated. The 3-buttons are exposed and now the jack doesn't even work. I just talked to customer service through the company (not Camping World) and there is only a 1-year warranty on this product. They offered me a 25% on a new product, I can get that same benefit through Camping World. If you plan on buying a new unit every 2-3 years, go for and and buy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR QUALITY Installed product just over a year ago. The control switch fell apart and shorted out. Was unable to raise or lower jack. Went to use manual override, nut on shaft made from cheap pot metal split after a few turns. Poor quality of product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent unit but a little slow I purchased thus awesome unit and it worked out wonderfully lifted my Jayco QB 212, SLX * 26 foot Travel Trailer like nithing at all. I did not have to crank this unit plus the truck contaced my bac would ache for days. Now because of this great Electric Togue lift I do the trailer jump in my truck and off feeling great and just happy as a lark.

Does this jack have a backup manual handle?

Asked by: Anonymous
It comes with a a manual handle but it is useless.  You have to overcome the resistance of the electric motor and is very difficult to operate. The way it's geared you have to turn it many more times to get any movement.  I found it easier to completely remove the jack instead of crank it up or down with the manual handle.
