In the event of motor failure can it be rolled up manually?

Asked by: Kline
Yes, the arms have a manual override. There is a rubber grommet that covers the override nut on head of the arm that houses the motor. The grommet is removed and a 7/16" socket is inserted to turn the override nut. A power drill is recommended to make the process easier. Full instructions can be read on page 5 of the owner's manual which is linked below. https://lci-support-doc.s3.amazonaws.com/manuals/awnings/ccd-0001978.pdf

Can this awning be attached to a room slide out on a 5th wheel?

Asked by: Rick
To install this awning, 78" of open space is needed on the wall of the RV from awning rail straight down. If the required space is available, then it is suggested that you contact the RV manufacturer to ensure that the slideout is structurally sound for installation of a patio awning directly to the slideout.
