Additional Information
Lightweight and compact, the Solo Stove Lite is the perfect backpacking companion to take on all your adventures. The environmentally friendly stove operates on just a handful of twigs, sticks, or an alcohol burner so there's no need to carry fuel. To clean the stove, just give it a quick shake to help get rid of any remaining ashes.

How It Works
While air is being pulled in, the double-wall construction allows air to be heated up and fed through the top vents providing an extra boost of pre-heated oxygen which creates a secondary combustion. It takes up-to 10 minutes to boil water plus the angled lip helps direct heat towards your pot which ensures heat loss is at a minimum.

Additional Features
• The airplane friendly stove can be carried on or check in at the airport

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi purpose Ok, its a great system to cook on, uses natural fuel, built solid etc etc but I haven't seen any else comment on it so I will, it is also a great, safe way to teach kids (or anyone for that matter) about fire. Fuel management, air management, heat etc within a small space. Easy to extinguish, small enough that it can't get out of hand. I started with my son when he was almost 4 on a camp trip to get him involved and now after a couple seasons of trips I don't worry about him near the fire. He respects it and it has been demystified because I let him investigate and interact with it. I still supervise mind you, but I don't have to worry too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality product! Great built! I recently acquired a solo stove and accessories. They all have great built quality. The stove, particularly, looks awesome and is very solid. It is a plus that it fits snugly into the Solo Stove Pot 900, greatly reducing volume in one's backpack. Moreover, the alcohol burner also fits inside the solo stove, so that all three items together take up as much space as the Pot 900 alone. It is very good to rely only on standard wood based fuel, albeit you may also use alcohol (with a burner for it), fire tablets and whatnot. Delivery for me in Brazil was very fast and efficient! I would not hesitate to acquire the whole set all over again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I've been eyeballing this stove for months and finally took the plunge. Timely shipping. Great packaging. Reminded me of the time I bought my first mac. I fell in love with the power cord before I even opened the laptop. The moment I got it in the mail, I loaded it with a little bit of paper, used a fire starter, and then added on some damp twigs from around the yard. Before long I was calling my wife out to watch as the smoke was recycled through the inner-walls, and caught on fire as it came back out through the top vents. I bought two, one for my brother, one for me. I wish these had been as available and affordable back when I was a Boy Scout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits into my MSR titan kettle. Superb job, really! I tried it with a soda can stove and alcohol inside it. It's amazing to watch the upper air inlets fire up the alcohol vapor once the sides of the Solo get hot and heat the incoming air. I think it'll be a great setup. The Bushbuddy is a great stove but I feel a bit more confident that the Solo will survive greater abuse (and I'd be lying if, as a designer, I said I'm not impressed by the fact that your stove seems a much more polished product.). It worked flawlessly with wood, even when some of the wood was damp. And it just fits into my MSR titan kettle (it help to use it with the lid upside down). It is a really great product. Superb job, really.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Free Fuel!! This is an amazing little stove. I have seen other wood fuel stoves but wasn't impressed - either too much $$$ or required batteries. I was considering building my own version, but for the cost of materials and drill bits I could purchase AT LEAST one of these. Two fist-fulls of twigs and the pot was simmering! In my part of the world that means FREE FUEL! It is amazing how much heat was produced with just a little bit of fuel after the stove heated up. This stove will definitely replace the gas stove in my pack. I will be sharing the SoloStove with my fellow Wood Badge staff this weekend. I am sure that they will love it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to get another one Best backpacking stove I ever had and hottest one on the mountain. Small but big enough for a meal. Sturdy, light weight, with stainless steel construction so it won't rust like others. Uses natural wood fuel that can be found almost anywhere rather than having to lug in bottles of fuel that can run out before you are done with your trip or can spill leaving you with nothing. Burns wood down to charcoal that you can use for other things. So good that my buddy held on to mine and won't give it back so now I have to get another and maybe another as a backup since it seems everyone wants one now that they have seen mine in action

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product, solidly built. Got my stove a week or so back. Seeing it in "person" I was surprised by how small it actually is. I've done one test burn in it to date, boiled 3/4 of a liter of h2o in about 8 minutes. Solidly built unit, did a fair bit of research into this type of stove before buying, I'm satisfied that I bought a top quality product at a very fair price. One thought for a future product: a larger version for base camp/emergency use would accommodate larger fuel and longer burn time without the need for such constant feeding. I'd buy one. I'm looking forward to my next backpacking trip with this light, little stove and no fuel to carry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight stove, exactly what I was looking for I saw this stove while surfing the web & it's exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight, well constructed & I don't have to worry about carrying fuel with me because ordinary twigs can be used for fuel. In a bug out situation, fuel isn't something I want to be worried about & this stove satisfies that. I guess it could even be used as a heat source in an emergency if needed. It burns the fuel efficiently with little smoke which again is a plus in a bug out situation. It require some practice placing bigger cookware on the stove but does well with small or solo type cookware. Excellent product & highly recommend it.
