Features
Take control of RV power changes with the SouthWire 30-1998 Automatic Power Transfer Switch, designed to move between shore power and an RV generator with dependable automatic operation. Built around dual 80A-rated contactors, this 120/240 volt switch provides reverse polarity and open ground protection while a mechanical interlock prevents both contactors from engaging simultaneously. A 30 second transfer delay helps manage generator startup, while the rugged plastic enclosure avoids the corrosion and energized enclosure concerns associated with metal boxes. Wall mount construction and an LED indicator make this transfer switch a practical addition to an RV electrical system.
Features:
• Automatically transfers to generator power
• 30-second delay helps manage power-up
• LED indicator identifies polarity and ground conditions
• Mechanical interlock prevents simultaneous contactor engagement
