Additional Information
The Splendide 7100XC Washer and Dryer Combo is capable of washing larger loads than traditional machines.

The all-in-one 7100XC unit washes laundry in the same fashion as the 21000XC model, but dries using the condenser drying method. Condenser drying does not require an external venting installation; the clothes are effectively and efficiently dried via two loops of air tumbling inside. With its unique Auto Dry cycles, the Splendide 7100XC transitions from washing to drying automatically so you are able to “set it and go.” This super-quiet unit hardly makes any noise, so it won’t disturb you during its wash cycle. The unique, brushless motor and sound-dampening technology allow you to wash and dry laundry even while you’re asleep. With more load capacity, more washing and drying cycle options, and one of the highest in customer satisfaction, the Splendide 7100XC is perfect for a variety of applications, including RVs, houses, boats, vacation homes, and more! Available in Platinum only!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for towels and underwear We've had our Splendide 7100XC Washer/Dryer for about four years. Lots of experimenting with sizes of loads, but it takes about four hours to wash and dry one load of laundry. The machine is best for towels or underwear. Anything else comes out so wrinkled that it is unusable. In fact, we have had to throw some things away, just because we have tried ironing them or taking the really wrinkled items to a laundromat, but it didn't make any difference. Drying, by the way, is not a problem. Simply set the machine on heavy items and turn the control to "more dry." I'm disappointed. Still have to go to the laundromat every week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from READ & FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS Works as exactly as specified in instruction manual. Washes 15 lbs & dries only 11lbs-- simply remove one heavy item after wash-items are only damp dry after washing only because of high spin speed and dry easily on the line. Clothes come out extra clean due to 2 washes & 3 rinses (selectable). Uses little water-electricity-soap(must use laundry soap designed for front loaders-in the amount specified)-.since cold water is used to remove moisture from the dry cycle works better the colder the incoming water is-.better than the coin laundry-plan ahead takes 2 to 3 hours per load.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Combo Bought ours about 2 months ago. Was initially concerned about condensation & humidity in room during dry cycle but, that was unfounded. It takes longer to wash and dry but, having it is such a convenience. I can wash about 3 loads a day. Just wash small loads frequently. Very quiet and the only time I know it's running is during the spin cycle. Plenty of wash & dry cycles to accomodate any fabric. Recommend you leave clothes a little damp to avoid wrinkles. Sometimes clothes come out feeling damp but, they aren't. Clothes have a slight odor when done drying and that dissipates. Great unit & would recommend it to anyone (if you can afford it).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from splendid I added a 2' x 2' closet to my 24' x 26' fishing shanty this Summer and discovered that it was enough room for an all-in-one unit. After researching the internet I decided to buy the Splendide 7100XC. Wow, good choice! Although I haven't received an electric bill for the first month of usage I am pleased to say it washes and dries (with a few wrinkles) everything I've thrown at it. It's simple to use and quiet enough for me. It probably wouldn't handle a family's laundry needs and I wish it had an end-of-cycle buzzer; but that's a minor inconvenience compared to being able to throw in a load, go fishing for a couple hours and come home to find clean, dry clothes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with my new washer/dryer combo I just received my new Splendide 7100XC washer/dryer combo yesterday. My husband and I were able to install it into our Class A RV with no problem. I just happened to find our RV was already pre-plumbed and wired for a washer when I pulled out a drawer to check behind it for an item of clothing. I went immediately and ordered our new unit so my husband doesn't have to do laundry at the public facilities. We couldn't be happier, we had the unit installed within an hour from start to finish. I tried it right away and washed a sweatsuit and pair of socks, the unit worked just as described. There were very little wrinkles as everyone seems to complain about that. Now we are ready to snowbird in style this year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad machine and design I set my first machine on a 95 minute Dry cycle and left for 5 hours. It was still on and extremely hot, smelling like burning wires when I returned. It was brand new and on it's second use! I went around with Camping World to get it replaced, another bad experience. And now my machine is going into Diagnostic mode regularly. Tech support has me pull my machine out and remove the top and pull out parts, clean an internal filter and reassemble it. It takes about an hour and a half to do this! I was told by the manufacturer to go back to Camping World for repairs. Not ever again after Hamburg and Syracuse. I had a vented machine in my last motorhome and loved it. I can't see giving this model a third chance! I'll be going to Alliance Coach in Wildwood, FL to remove this machine and add a Dryer vent and install another model machine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Washer/Dryer We recently had a Splendide 7100XC installed and we are very happy with its performance. We chose the 7100 over the vented model because we didn't want a vent going through the outside wall and the 7100 has two auto dry settings. Detergent, fabric softener, and bleach are added automatically and at the completion of the wash cycle, it automatically shifts of the dry mode. It takes about three hours to do a load of laundry, but because everything is done automatically, this isn't really a problem. Put dirty items in and get clean items out. Much better than using a coin laundry. It's fairly quiet too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for RV life Im a traveling construction worker and live out of my fifth wheel when im on the road. I purchased this about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. I get home, throw my clothes in the washer everyday. I do recommend using fabric softener with this because of the steam drying. If you leave clothes in for too long they will come ot wrinkled, but you just need to pay attention to your washing cycles. I wish it had a chime option to tell you when it's done. Splendide customer service is 5 star service.

Looking to replace my splendide 2100 and would like to know if the hook ups are the same> Hoses/ vents ect

Asked by: RotnRose
Yes, hookups are the same on a Splendide 2100 and 7100XC except for exhaust vent as the 7100XC is a ventless washer/dryer. If you would like a vented model, see the 2100XC listed as SKU# 37344.

Does this unit have a wash only cycle

Asked by: happycamper
When setting the type of wash cycle you want to run, you can turn the "Dry Time" knob to 'OFF' position which will prevent the washer/dryer from automatically going in to a dry cycle after the wash cycle is complete. Page 17 of the owner's manual goes over how to set a wash-to-dry cycle, wash only cycle, or dry only cycle. Would this fit in a 2005 Winnebago Journey in the bathroom closet, as will we need a drain pan and vent hose or other hoses

Asked by: Anne
We do not have the ability to verify fit of this washer/dryer based on RV make/model. Please refer to the installation data sheet linked below as it provides the dimensional specs for this appliance along with cutout requirements if being installed in cabinetry. http://www.splendide.com/WDC7100XC_DataSheet.pdf We have the drain pan listed as SKU#22215 SecureFit brackets for this washer/dryer as listed as SKU#31461 Two water hoses(hot and cold) along with a drain hose are included with this appliance. A dryer vent hose is not necessary as the 7100XC is a ventless dryer.

I clicked on the "Specs" tab but you don't show any info. I would like to see the weight, H/W/D measurements and amount of water used. I would also like to know if it runs on 110/120 or 220/240 voltage.
