Blank Material
The blank features a combination of super-high-modulus SC VI graphite in the lower section and high-modulus/high-strain SC V graphite in the upper section. Both types of graphite are reinforced with the Fortified Resin System (FRS) and the upper section also includes carbon-matte scrim. The result is a blank with maximum power, strength, and durability that's still shockingly lightweight and sensitive.
Integrated Technology
FRS prevents micro-buckling by keeping carbon fibers in proper alignment throughout the curing cycle, resulting in a blank that's 33% stronger than those built with standard resins. Integrated Poly Curve (IPC) tooling technology provides smooth, continuous-curve tapers that deliver a more efficient transfer of energy for longer casts with less effort. Taper Enhancement Technology (TET) blank design provides curved patterns for improved actions with increased sensitivity. Advanced Reinforcing Technology (ART) strengthens the blank in key areas to produce the off-set, slim-profile ferrules on all two-piece models, making the rod stronger without adding extra bulk or weight.
