Steel jack easily supports 750 lbs., taking the load off your step tread, mechanism and frame. Lengthens the life of any RV step assembly. Just twist to extend or retract for storage. Turn the threaded rod at least three full thread turns into the base for proper support.

No, this product is not intended to be mounted permanently. The RV steps would not be able to retract if one of these step jacks were mounted/welded to it.

The photo shows one jack in one corner...but it feels like I'd need two: one for each side for best I correct?
One steel jack supports up to 750 lbs. Only one is needed, but per reviews some people prefer 2.
