Outer Shell and Inner Lining
The jacket's lightweight, 330D Tussor outer shell is built with Hydrapore 5000 polyurethane laminate and fully-taped seams, providing extreme waterproofing and wind-proofing. Radial "to-the-skin" venting system helps moderate inside temperatures and keeps everything breathable. The micro-fleece liner adds extreme warmth and comfort, and it can be removed for use on its own or if the temperature is more moderate and only the shell is needed.
Sureflote and Fast-Drain Technology
The Sureflote flotation assist system is made from expanded low-density polyethylene foam that creates internal air pockets for added buoyancy. When used as a jacket/bib combo, it can keep the average person afloat for two hours or more. Though not a PFD, in most circumstances, it will give you enough time to get to safety. Fast-Drain hems are mesh drains that quickly expel moisture that builds up in the shell. In addition to keeping the Climate jacket breathable, they drastically reduce its water intake in the event of an accidental submersion.
Additional Features
Shock Cord drawstring at waist and hem and Velcro adjustable stretch cuffs provide superior adjustability and a custom fit. Extended Lycra inner wrist cuffs and Soft Touch inner neck collar deliver further comfort. Removable hood features a memory wire visor that stays rigid in the wind. Heavy-duty storm flap protects the YKK two-way front zipper from wind and water, adding extra protection from the elements. The Climate also sports a variety of convenient pockets for whatever you need to store. D-rings for accessory attachment. Reflective material for added safety.
