I have bought one of these in the past and love it. Mine came with a little sleeve like thing that you put on top of the stake to protect it from getting smashes while you hammer the stake in. Can you tell me where I can get more of them cause they only last so long? Then I will be interested in buying another fire grill. Thank You!
No, a stake protector is not included or available from Stromberg Carlson. The manufacturer instructs to use a piece of wood between the stake head and hammer to prevent distortion of the stake head.
