Handy Tool for Fine Tuning of Grass and Shrubs
Grass trimming blade works well. For changing to hedge trimming blade I found it tricky as to undoing the tab of the blade cover. Strength in my fingers and stiffness of the cover to open and again close were frustrating. The cutting blade cover should be recommended to be on the blade while handling. Being a full plastic blade cover, the tab looks like it may not be strong enough to last through the multiply times blades will be changed. If breakage occurs can the cover be replaced easily especially with my extended warranty?

Kudos To The Inventor!
Thank you! Thank you! What a blessing it is to be able to trim close to a fence, without causing any nicks or damage. The availability of an extension pole for this cutter was the frosting on the cake! I have major knee problems, and this enables me to get the job done without a problem.
The only drawback I found on this product, is the fact that you have to keep your finger pressed on the start button, or it will shut off. So, I remedied that problem by wrapping a strong postal type rubber band around it to keep it down. Problem solved! (Just be careful!)
A totally drained battery takes 3 hrs to charge and lasts 1 1/2 hrs. Which is plenty of time to get a lot of trimming done.
When storing for the winter, I fully charge the battery, and disconnect from the charger.

Broke after 2 uses
The gear is plastic and after two uses the gear lost 2 teeth. It had to be started by pushing on the blades. I pinched my fingers trying to restart it. We contacted the company and haven’t heard back. I am so disappointed, I waited awhile to receive it and now it doesn’t work Wouldn’t recommend this item

Great, useful, lightweight but powerful device.
This device is easy to use and very effective for my intended uses of light brush and weed trimming along the flagstone pathways around my house. No problems with trimming weeds very close to flagstone surfaces. I have had no problems of any kind during moderately heavy use during the past few months of the weed and brush rapid growth season.
There appear to be conflicting instructions in the Owner's Manual regarding battery charging and storage. Page 8 says not to leave the trimmer plugged into the charger, and Page 10 says it is ideal to leave the battery connected to the charger.
P. 8 – Charging Procedure
This charger does not automatically turn off when the battery is fully charged. Please take care not to leave the grass shear + hedge trimmer plugged into the charger. Switch off or unplug the charger at the mains when charging is complete.
P. 10 - Storage
When the tool will not be used for several months, it is ideal to leave the battery connected to the charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the reviews and look at what I was getting. One review said they tried the long bar on the Boxwood bush and said it did not cut it, and the forward facing one work well. I have 8 small Boxwood bushes is why I bought it. Both attachments work very well. A great tool to have for small jobs and touch up work. Very happy.

Best thing in the garden cart
Senior here and with the usual complaints,this has made the gardening much easier,trimmed plant stocks back in spring and look forward to edging beds come summer. I particularly like the way the cutting blade is engineered,works well with straight surfaces as well as natural rocks

Very good until it breaks
I have used the Grass Shear once, it worked really well until it caught a piece of wood (that I did not see). The rivet that holds the two pieces of the shear together broke instantly and made the tool useless. In my opinion, that rivet is way too weak

A powerful tool
I have owned several different brands of grass shears and all have ended up in the trash after a short time. This grass shear however is powerful, rugged, and holds its charge! It is getting a lot of use and always gets the job done very well.
