Swagman does not manufacture a 2 bike rack based on this design. Instead, Swagman uses a strap system for a 2 bike rack which we have listed as SKU#87332.

Yes an extension can be used as long as the total weight of the bikes plus rack does not exceed the capacity of said extension. As to if there will be any rattle and how much is difficult to say. Finish and tolerance of hitch extensions will vary manufacturer to manufacturer. Thus there are products like SKU#58730 on the market.

As is no, this bike rack is engineered to fit a 2" square. A reducer would have to be used to fit a 1.25" square. As well as specs for the hitch receiver double checked for maximum weight capacity to ensure failure does not occur with the bike rack plus bikes mounted.
