Additional Information
The Swagman Straddler is designed to mount to the A-Frame at the front a travel trailer.

Its legs rotate to fit various frame widths. It telescopes to rise above propane tanks or generators already mounted on the trailer frame and creates a 2” receiver that can fit any 2-bike rack. Some drilling is required for installation.

Can this be used with a Kuat Transfer 2 platform bike rack if I have the clearance to prevent contact with tow vehicle? Rack is 37# so total bikes could be up to 63# to meet 100# limit.

    Asked by: Chris
The only requirement for fit on the Swagman Straddler is for the bike rack to fit a 2" square receiver. If clearance checks out, yes the Kuat Transfer bike rack can be used as it is designed to fit 1.5" and 2" receivers.

I have a hybrid style travel trailer. The fold-down is about 30 inches above the a-frame. Is the cross bar removable?

    Asked by: Rich
The crossbar at the top can be removed as it is a separate piece that must be mounted to the bent posts with included screws & nylon nuts included with bike rack. How high does this place the receiver above the trailer tongue?

    Asked by: Anonymous
From the top of the trailer frame to the top of the cross bar(below the receiver), is an adjustable height from 29-1/2" to 35-1/2".
