The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Brake Control is the perfect shared-trailer solution. The Prodigy RF incorporates two units – a trailer-mounted power module and a handheld remote control. The wireless communication between vehicle and trailer makes it the perfect brake controller for any trailer that is pulled by multiple tow vehicles (fleets, rentals, or shared trailers).
Trailer-Mounted Power Module – provides brake control for 2, 4, and 6 brake systems (1-3 axles). This watertight unit includes an 8' long, sealed, 7-blade connector. Utilizes inertia-activated braking and self-leveling and features the same primary sensor technology as the Prodigy. Works proportionally in forward and reverse.
Handheld Remote Control – provides wireless communication with the trailer-mounted power module eliminating the need for under-dash wiring. Easy-to-see LED display supplies trailer brake voltage, power output, and diagnostics. The easy-to-use handheld remote control operates the Prodigy Boost system to allow for different levels of customized braking. The unit provides continual diagnostic scanning with a visual warning display. The handheld unit plugs into any standard 12-volt power accessory adaptor.
