Great refrigerator and freezer monitor
This little unit is a real gem. I bought one additional
sensor and have one in the refrigerator and one in the
freezer. Has no problems sending signal from inside
fridge/freezer to anywhere in my camper. The remote sensors
are totally wireless. No ugly probe wires running around the
door seals! It's very compact but has a nice large display
for viewing. At any time it will display one remote sensor
plus roomtemp and time and day. Easily toggle between remote
sensors with one button. Temperatures update a few times a
minute and have been very accurate. Also stores max and min
temps. Had mine for months now and still have not had to
change batteries. I have been using Eneloop rechargeable
batteries as they don't leak like most alkalines eventually do.
This is a quality unit that was well worth the money. I
highly recommend it. The only negative I can think of is
that the display doesn't have a backlight.

Excellent produce
Had a similar product. Much more pleased now. Use main receiver in living area of RV
and the other in outside front door area. Also purchased 2 senders, one in car, one in
freezer. At home site, use one in house living area, one outside, one in RV. Very
pleased with signal, reception, and device overall, only wish it had a night light on
request. Will recommend it to others.

Great Thermometer and very accurate
This is well worth the money because it is easy to read and it is very accurate, much better than the wired one that I replaced, sure glad I bought this when it was on sale.

Worst Remote Thermometer I have owned
I bought this thermometer and 2 outside remotes so that I could monitor the temperature on both sides of my house. I have one remote mounted on a window 3 feet from the main unit and a second remote mounted on the front of the house about 25 feet from the main unit. The main unit will only receive a signal from the remotes when they are sitting right next to it. I am going to see if I can return it.

Happy
Had some problems with first one, thought I was not on a 10 yr olds level. Called Temp Minder and was pleasantly surprised when I was told that a new one would be sent, No Charge. Received it and works fine with my two transmitters. In this day and age it is had to find a company that stands behind their product in this way. Was a real pleasure doing business with Todd and Minder Industries.

Is there a built in sensor?
I see that this unit comes with one remote sensor, but is there also an internal sensor so that if the one remote is outdoors i would have both indoor and outdoor temperatures, or would i have to have 2 remotes to accomplish this?
The monitor has its own thermometer, room temperature is displayed in the bottom left of the screen.
