Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor set up on new bow wicked Ridge m370 When I received it it was not set up to shot at 20yds as claimed. The scope was loose and would not hold zero until completely remounted. After first field trip I noticed that the cocking devise was rattling all the screws literally were holding on by a single threat except for the one that fell out in the woods. Also it was supposed to have arrows none in box what a mess but needed the bow quickly because my other 10 point was broken.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for the money I've hunted for close to 40 years with modern guns, muzzleloaders and occasionally a compound bow in my younger years, but this is my first crossbow. I didn't want to go all in with a multi-thousand dollar setup, but I also didn't want a cheapie. I wanted something solid that would serve me for years to come, but also knowing that it would get limited use each year. After much research I decided the M-370 was about the best value for my money. I liked the narrow width, light weight and the Acu-Draw system because I'm too old to be trying to wrestle a 180-pound draw. It was fairly easy to assemble, though getting the bow assembly on the stock was a little tricky. The instructions tell you to pull up and back on the string to seat it, but that did nothing for me, and I ended up having to grip it by the arms to get it to click into place. The scope is crystal clear and well-sighted from the factory. At 20 yards, I was about two inches left on my first shot. After a couple of adjustments, it was practically putting the arrows through the same hole at 20. The trigger, at about 3.5 pounds, is still pretty crisp. I was very pleased with the accuracy and after about five or six more tightly-grouped shots, I headed to the woods. Don't make the mistake that I did. I was satisfied at 20 yards and called it a day. You need to shoot it at 30 and 40, as well, as I found out on about my third hunt. I had an empty freezer and a large, lone doe standing at 40 yards, so I decided to try it out. I lined up the 40-yard crosshair and squeezed off the arrow. I heard the solid thump that told me I'd hit home. When I found the deer, I was stunned to find that I had hit about five inches left of my aim point. Luckily, it was still a clean shot, but things could have gone badly. Taking it back to the bench, I discovered that my scope was not straight and level, but had been installed at the factory with a slight cant to the left, so my tight groups at 20 were about two inches left and a little high at 30, and about four inches left and a little low at 40. It's my fault for not checking before heading to the woods, but definitely shoot it at all distances. Other than that, I have zero complaints with this bow. The 370fps has plenty of speed and power, and combined with a 100-grain Rage Hypodermic, it made for a clean kill and a short tracking job. You will have to use the Ten Point Alpha Nock arrows in this crossbow, which do seem to run a little more to the expensive side than some other arrows. You also need to be a little careful with them as the nocks snap on and can come off. The only time I've had it happen is when extracting a deep shot from a target, but it's worth noting that it is possible. I love the Acu-Draw system. It's super easy to use, though it does take a little time and make a clicking sound as you crank it back, so I'd suggest cocking the bow at the truck instead of the stand. You'll also need a discharge target or decocking bolt, as the only way to uncock it after a hunt is to fire it. I bought a small discharge bag for about 15 bucks, and it's served me well. If I had it to do over, I'd definitely buy the M-370 again, and I'm looking forward to a lot of great hunts with it.
