Additional Information
Finally you can use rotary power to literally blast the walls of your sewage holding tank clean! With a 360° rotating head and ten high-pressure nozzles, the Tornado's powerful spray reaches every area of your holding tank. The Tornado's moving water jets help push toilet paper and debris from sensor probes and tank walls, including hard-to-reach tank corners. Probes need to be free of residual material in order to read correctly. No hoses to bring through windows or stick down toilets. This complete rotary tank rinser kit comes with remove connection, 6' hose, Tornado rinser, and vacuum breaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tomado Permanent Tank Rinser Just took my first trip after installing the Tomado Permanent Tank Rinser with Remote Connection on the black water holding tank of my travel trailer. It works as good or better than advertised. Don't know why I didn't do this sooner. It is well worth the money. I plan on getting another one for my grey water tank and connecting them together to the remote connection using a Y connector with valves. They should tell you that you need a 1.5 inch door knob bit for drilling the hole in you holding tank. I happen to have one, but not everyone will. Installation went very smoothly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tornado Tank Riser This product works great and it really cleans out the waste tank. I was a little nervous about drilling a hole into my tank but, the provided template worked great for providing the correct hole location. The instructions say to install it opposite the tank sensors but I could not access that location so I put it on the sensor side. I was amazed at the amount of "stuff" that came out while the Tornado was running. You can hear the high whine of the water jets running. It was easy to install and I am pleased with the performance highly recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get ready for leaks!!! But, they do work. I installed a Tornado in my black water tank and a Quickie flush in my gray water tank. When i fired them up.......both leaked. I would recommend that you understand how everything couples together and actually test the units before you ever put them in the tank. By all means test them before you button everything back up, especially if you have and enclose belly on your RV. BTW......the backflow valve on the Tornado trickles a little bit after you turn off the water. The Tornado comes with stainless screws while the Quickie flush comes with zinc coated screws. Honestly, for $25-$30, I was a bit disappointed in the design of both. Hope they work well after I get the belly pan all back in place on my fifth wheel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean as a whistle I combined the installation of two Tornado Permanent Tank Rinsers (black & grey tanks) using a Walmart garden hose manifold and the forced pumping action of the Sewer Solution to provide a thorough flush with the speed (almost) of an Indianapolis tire change. Other owners at the dump sites that I used were amazed at the efficiency and cleanliness of an otherwise nasty task. Never seen so many guys gaga about flushing poop! I highly recommend this item. I had no problem with the installation or the function of either Tornado Rinser. Installation instructions are clear and should be straight forward for the average do-it- yourselfer. My only concern is for Canadian customers who pay the high FedEX brokerage fee because Camping World won't consider using another shipping method.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tornado- more like junk, I opened this item and the hose was severely crimped in four places. I hooked a different (good) hose to the Tornado unit to test before installation thank goodness. The swiveling head would not swivel with proper water pressure. The apparent flash from extruding process blocking water to allow sufficient water to operate. Camco replaced the swivel head after contacting them, but the replacement did not work either. I just threw the entire thing in the trash.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tips on installation of Tornado Tank Rinser I purchased two tank rinsers, one for the black tank and one for the gray tank. When I installed the units and fired up the black tank unit, I had water squirting out of the backflow preventer. Went all over the compartment. I took bothbackflow preventers off and found small pieces of debris on the rubber seals. Used a hose nozzle and squirted the backflows both directions with water to clean. Reinstalled and had no leaks. However, one unit was spinning inside the tank and one was not . Took the one not spinning off and found I had gotten some of the silicone sealer on the head. Cleaned that off, reinstalled and it worked fine. Ran both units for 5 minutes. This is the first time my level sensors have worked correctly for years. Both had one light only. My take on the unit is, be careful when installing and they are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easier than using a wand The tornado is much better than using a wand to clean the black tank. Installation is a lot off work, especially if you have an enclosed under belly and the tank is up between the frame. The hose could be a little longer. I added a 4' hose to the one included so it would reach to the dump side of the camper. It cleans the tank well when dumping. You just have to let it run for at least 5 minutes to get a good flush. I would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tornado permanent tank rinser The tornado is better than having to use a wand and drag a hose through my travel trailer all the time. It makes cleaning the black tank easier and more convenient since the remote hook up is right next to my black tank flush valve. I had it professionally installed because of the in-closed under belly of my travel trailer. I would recommend the tornado to anyone who wants an easier way to clean their black holding tank.
