Trailer-Aid® PLUS, Black is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trailer Aid We had a blowout on our tandem fifthwheel. The Trailer Aid alone did not lift the trailer high enough, the suspension on the wheel to be changed dropped too far to remove the tire, so we needed to place boards underneath the Trailer Aid to gain the height needed. The next time we needed to use it, I used the trucks bottle jack to raise the axle and spring to get the clearance needed. Other than that little problem the TrailerAide worked great and saved us a long wait had we needed to call someone to change the tire for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than a jack -- and faster, too !! This is a great idea that makes a trailer tire change (with multiple axles) extremely easy and fast. Fairly small and easy to store. I've used mine twice now, and helped another RVer for my third use. Loosen the lugs on the flat tire while still on the ground, then simply pull (or back) your good tire on the same side up onto the Trailer-Aid. The flat is now up off the ground and ready to change. Back the trailer down off the Trailer-Aid, torque your lugs on the just-installed spare and you're ready to go. One word of caution: while there are "teeth" around the bottom of the Trailer-Aid, they do a better job of digging in to hold the device steady on dirt, gravel, or asphalt. Some concrete surfaces are just too slick to get it to bite and hold it steady as you pull up on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Saver I received Trailer-Aid just before leaving on a trip. Had a blow out going to camp and a flat on the way back. This Trailer-Aid is the best money I ever spent. It is just as easy as advertised, if not more. No jacks to worry with, no crawling on the ground to find the place to put the jack. No jacking. Cannot praise it highly enough. Every trailer owner with two axles must have one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty I was shocked at the heft and weight of this thing - quite impressive! Fortunately I haven't had to use it because of a flat tire, but it certainly makes a good wheel chock. Having dealt with trying to jack up a trailer with a flat tire, I'm glad to have this device at the ready, and the quality of its construction makes me confident it will work if I need to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Buy I had to use mine for the first time the other week and it worked perfectly. I did have to add one of my leveling boards under it to raise it just a bit more than the Trailer-Aid provided. It worked GREAT and made changing the tire a quick process. I always have mine with me in the bed of my truck. I would strongly recommend this to any trailer owner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice! Bought this ramp for changing tires on the trailer. Figured it would be lighter and easier than hauling a hydraulic floor jack and wood blocks along with me. Worked really well on my dual-axle setup. Before trying it, I was sort of questioning whether it would lift the other wheel enough, but it was the perfect height.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from trailer aid The Boy Scouts have a motto be prepared I do not have a trailer jack with me, so thougtht I had better get one. Yes, I could use lego blocks, and I do carry them but this is one piece and has multiple uses. Design and quality is good. Con: This is a large item and is something else to carry.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Idea but one size does not fit all... We own a 2012 Keystone Passport Grand Touring 3220BH Travel Trailer and bought this product after we had three tire incidents in three years of camping. We wanted a solution to changing the spare without waiting for roadside assistance and without haulling multiple floor jacks. Our camper has a dual axel load equalization (spread axel) design. Right after purchasing this product, a friend with a similarily designed travel trailer blew out a tire and called us for help. We pulled the trailer onto the Trailer Aid and were able to remove the blown tire, but the rise was not high enough to permit us to mount the spare. We had to go an get a floor jack to lift the second axel an additional 1 1/2 inch to allow the spare to be installed. It appears that the manufacturer Camco knows this is a problem because the item has a one inch rubber riser mounted on the top of it but this still does not lift the camper high enough for a successful tire change. Great idea but it falls short ( by about 1 1/ 2 inches....)
