Additional Information
The first trailer tongue cargo carrying system lets you carry up to 300 lbs. of cargo on the A-frame of your trailer.

Adjusts to fit most A-frame trailers. Platform adjusts up to 12" fore and aft to clear weight distributing hitch, battery boxes and propane bottles. Your tow vehicle’s suspension guarantees this is the softest riding area on your trailer, protecting cargo from jarring and vibration common with rear-mounted cargo carriers. Carry a generator, cooler, compressor, firewood and more. Brackets fit trailer frames 3 ½" to 6 ½"H. Platform is 32"W x 20"D with metal floor that lets water drain away. Once installed and adjusted, drill four holes through the round 1/8" wall tube to permanently fix the Trailer Tray in place. Includes all hardware.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty I just got done installing this, it came with extra hardware for different optional mounting choices. I wasn't sure I would be able to fit this because my trailer tongue is loaded, electric jack, dual 23;30 LP tanks, dual batteries in boxes on a tray, and I run ez lift bar brackets too... But the options for adjusting the position were plentiful, and taking my time, it all came together fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product! Very solid I had a minor snafu with a part missing, but I had installed it myself and changed up a bolt to manage to the missing part. The vendor heard I had a part missing from my review, contacted me immediately, overnighted the part and now it is perfect! Great customer experience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trailer tray A Frame Cargo Carrier Well Built Product, once you get it somewhat in place, be sure to check your clearances. Also that you can easily reach the hardware necessary to secure the tray assembly. My trailer had a plastic cover over the propane covers, I opted for a soft cover to replace the plastic one due to the necessity of removing bottles for refilling. Camping World had a great cover, problem solved, stays put and unzips to change from one to the other with ease. You will be drilling holes in the two large support tubes, adjust to where you like them, mark drilling locations using white out. I easily fit two small generators side by side with room to spare. They travel well and can be secured quite nicely when in transit or at camp. The tray has drain holes so water can't build up. I have not experienced any turning clearance issues with the tray installed. Basic hand tools, a drill and some bits, some type of thread locker and a little patience is all you'll need to install. This addition made things so much easier, well worth the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Paint?? I installed your shelf with no problem and the quality of the materials was good. The design is excellent. The reason I can't give this product a 5 star review is the paint started peeling off before I completed the installation. I had to repaint the shelf!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trailer Tray Excellent product, well constructed and fits nicely above the gas tanks. I would replace the front bolts on the front support arm with wing nuts to make it easier to remove the tray when you need to fill the tanks.

Do you have to take the whole bracket and generator off to remove the lip tank cover?

Asked by: Terry
From the top of the trailer a-frame to the bottom of the tray is 29.5". This cargo carrier was engineered to accommodate for up to a 30# propane tank with just enough space to access said tank(s) with a vinyl or hard cover with flip top. However, the tray will need to be removed to remove the tank cover or refill said propane tank(s).

My camper is v noised. Think it will work ?

Asked by: Harold
On a v-nose trailer, fit will depend on how much space is available on your frame. This carrier can be used on frame widths from 14" to 55" and is recommended to be 1" to 2" away from the trailer for the tray while 2" to 3" for the lower pockets. Install Manual

Can you leave the generator there to run it or does it need to be moved to the ground?

Asked by: Shelly
Yes, a generator can be left on the tray and turned on to be used. However, the owner will have to keep in mind of the where the air intake and exhaust are located. The air intake/carburetor should not be blocked and should also point the exhaust away to avoid damage to the finish of the trailer.

Will this carrier fit with a large electric front end jack? The jack touches the front of the propane tanks, the tanks are 15#.

Asked by: Gooding camper
This really shouldn't interfere with the jack at all, the positioning is adjustable (forward and back) and the clearance height is 29". The front support is optional, only needed if mounting heavy items such as a large generator on the tray.

Does this interfere with sway bars?

Looking at the placement of this system, it seams that it might be hindered by the sway bars. Has this been an issue?
Asked by: J CAR
This item is adjustable and should have enough room to fit around the sway bars. It is made to clear weight distributing hitches as well.
