Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dish for a motor coach Crystal clear HD picture. I've got 3 TV's on a single HD/DVR & the bedroom TV on a HD receiver and it works just great. It's all in the installation & wiring - just make sure it's done right. Make sure you setup your remotes on radio freq so you don't need direct line of site to use TV & ensure the dish is on your inverter to make it fool proof for raising & lowering when you're in a hurry to setup. Tracks all 3 satellites in just a few minutes - no delay in channel switching like other systems. It also looks pretty cool up there. One note - make sure to reset your receiver's each time you camp or they will try to cleanup since the last time you camped - it's pretty easy, there is a red reset button on each DirecTV receiver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winegard Trav'ler the best! I'm going into my third year of using this dish and haven't had any problems with it at all. The aiming (with clear sky to south) takes only 3 minutes and brings in the HD signal as clear as at home. I use my DirecTv account from my home and got two extra boxes, so there is no additional account expense attached to it. If I go camping by myself, my wife still has DTV at home as I do on the road. This dish locks the signal every time, even in the mountains! I'd recommend it for anyone! Thank you Winegard and Camping World.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Installation We had Camping World in Vacaville do the installation. I purchased the antenna through Camping World. They called when the antenna arrived. I had it installed a few days later and the installation went well. It took four hours and about 20 minutes to setup the receiver. We have not used the antenna/receiver at all yet. It will see significant use over the next 6-8 weeks. I'll update my review when I have more time with the setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best choice If you have DirecTV and travel a lot, this is the one to get. We are full time in a motor home, and we get better reception with this than we did with our home setup. The only problem is if you have two sets and want to use a dvr to record a channel you are not watching, you need to have a 3rd line run in and DirecTV will not run any lines from your dish. Other than that, we have had it since 2009 and not a single problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had one before on our motorhome I just love this Winegard satellite dish. We had Camping World install the one on our motorhome and now on our 5th Wheel. I really like how easy it is to get our two TVs on. I wouldn't be without this dish ever!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hardy installation Got caught in severe weather in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado with over 40 mph gusts and no problems. Though, I did take it down when the gust went over 50, and it came down with no problems.

Ccoax is used from sat dish to box, but can you use hdmi from the box to two tv's, one in front room, 1 in back bedroom? Also, I have a Winegard Roadtrip mounted on roof with a dome. Can I just replthe Roadtrip with the Trav'ler and put dome on?

    Asked by: Mattt M
It is highly recommended that you review the installation manual linked below as the manual has a couple of examples of how this satellite antenna is wired. http://www.winegard.com/help/images/8/89/2452282.pdf But as a generalization, coax would eventually go to a splitter for multiple satellite receiver support, then additional coax run from the splitter to satellite receivers. The control and power components used for this antenna do not have any actual Video/Audio outputs. HDMI output would be at the satellite receiver(which are not included). You will need to use a satellite receiver for every TV in your possession, if you want the ability to have multiple TV programs to be watched simultaneously. Or you would use an HDMI splitter from a single satellite receiver to all of the TVs which will display the same program selected by the receiver on every TV. The only component you may be able to reuse, if still in good condition, from the Roadtrip antenna is the coax cable(s). Winegard's Trav'ler and Roadtrip antennas are two very different types so parts are not interchangeable. The installation footprint will also be different between the two units.

Is this dish compatible with the direct tv genie?

    Asked by: Anonymous
I have the Direct Tv Genie and 2 mini genies. One in living room and one the bedroom and one outside and it works great. It takes about 5 minutes to find the satellite and you're ready to go. I get between 95% to 99% signal every time.
