A great acessory to have
The release of the ratchets is a little hard but overall product is quality made. Also noticed the screws are starting to rust already.
It does take out a lot of the shaking out of the camper.

Sturdy Tripod
This jack seems very sturdy and well made. Having said that, the set up , although easy, can be a little tricky at first. It made a noticeable difference in the front area stability of our 38 foot 5th wheel, but it still has some movement.

I would buy it again
I haven't used it yet, but it seems to be well designed. The construction is heavy enough to last, but light enough to handle. I used a strap around the legs to keep them folded for transport and storage.

Poor service
Paid for it April 30th. Left MN May 17th without it. I'm done with Gander and camping world. I can't give a review on something I never got. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere thank you very much.

Good quality
I just purchased this tripod and i have installed it on my rig. I am very pleased with the light weight and easy use. My 44' toy hauler feels a lot more sturdier at the nose.

More stability up front
Easy to set up. I liked that each leg is adjustable separately. I found it a little hard to retract the legs. I liked the way it adds stability

Perfect for campers with a capture plate
This works perfectly with the capture plate Attached to the pin box. I don’t need to remove it to stabilize the front of the camper.

Does this work with an Anderson hitch?
The Andersen hitch is essentially a shirt gooseneck converter. This will work with the addition of BAL adapter part number 25067 that replicated the goose ball. It will not hang from the trailer and operate down but the ratchets will operate the tripod upwards. The Andersen has a coating in the inside of the converter that some people use an old tennis ball between the BAL adapter (part 25067) and the converter to protect it. We don't carry part number 25067, but you can potentially special order it by calling our tech sales line at 800-622-6264.

Will this work on a goose neck hitch?
BAL offers a gooseneck adapter for this tripod, the manufacturer part number is #25067. We unfortunately do not carry this adapter.
