Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ranch Hitch Adapter I have been using this hitch adapter for three years now on a 40 ft, 4 slide trailer and it has performed great. The slight cone shape means I don't have to get perfectly lined up to hitchup, and unlike other available units I don't have to climb into the truck bed to secure the coupling. Easily installed and adjustable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use Adapter I've been using this adapter for 5 years on my 30-foot 2002 Thor Toyhauler, 12,000lb trailer. The adapter was a super easy install and has proven to be a strong reliable unit, on-road and off-road. I made sure my pin box was properly supported and reinforced before install. I wanted the bedspace in my long wheelbase f350 clear and this was the way to go within my budget. Lining it up is a cinch. There are a ton of Pro's regarding ease of use and convenience. The only major con I've encountered is that by moving the connecting point of the trailer pinbox, effectively to the end of a lever, there is a complex torsion applied to the pinbox and trailer frame that is amplified on rough road and hard shifts. I keep an eye on the welds and have not seen any signs of weakness, but the most noticeable result of the torsion is a "bucking" or "dolphining" motion on hard bumps. This may be reduced with a short wheel base truck or air bagged pin box. I'd like to try that.
