Rated 5 out of 5 by from Add a rear view mirror when you tow This allows you to have a view of the road behind you just like you do with the rear view mirror of your truck. I did adjust it to have a little more of a view of the road instead of just looking down and seeing the bumper. I am more interested in what is near the top of the camera then the back bumper. You should read both the instructions in the large book and the smaller one for the camera as it does have a few items that are missed in the large book. You can change the mode of the monitor by holding down the power button for about 3 seconds to switch between mirror and other displays. This feature is missed in both book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loses signal I just installed this system on our 38' Raptor fifth wheel. Between the camper and my GMC dually is less that 60' but we found that it loses connection quite often. It doesn't lose signal for long and it was connected more often than not but we were hoping it would have been a little more reliable. Now that we have the system I couldn't imagine not having it hauling down the interstate. We normally only use pull through sites so I haven't tried backing up with it, but seeing cars behind me that you can't see in your mirrors is a life saver. Even with the loss of signal I would still recommend buying this system. It has the ability to hard wire but the few times we lost signal wasn't enough for me to hard wire.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works as advertised, however... This item was easy to install and has a nice bright screen. I replaced the backup camera that's part of the rear view mirror and it's tiny screen embedded in the rear view mirror. My only complaint is I can not reverse the image so it works like a rear view mirror. In the screen you see a car coming up on the right side only it passes me on the left side. I wish I could reverse the image.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Requires lights to be on, when wired that way, duh! An actual review on model WVOS511, the previous generation. It is an easy to install, quality product, and works well when one remembers to turn the lights on when it is wired that way. It worked at over 50 feet flawlessly. I can see no reason this model shouldn't work just a well.
